Description[]
Drunon is a big, broad eggplant with purple skin covered in white scars. He is not a kind man, and especially aggressive during times of war. He acts upon a lot of sinful vices, making him at odds with the Bulbian Church, often visiting taverns and whore houses. The end result is a lot of drunken brawls that the noble houses are then forced to clean up. He is considered the "figurehead" of Vegetanian might due to his ruthless force and power against those who cross him.
Background[]
During the first years of the Ravening War, Drunon has gained some notoriety from defending Greenhold, pushing back the Fructeran army. His proclivity as a war hero has caused the noble Vegetanian houses, including House Cabbage, to ignore his more unsavory acts and characteristics in order to stay in the general's good graces.
History[]
In order to gain good graces with Count Jacques Tomaté, Karna Solara goes to Bishop Raphaniel Charlock in hopes of finding a suitable "chess piece" to give approval and access to the Fructeran court. He ultimately gives her the name of Sir Drunon who, not only a well-known Vegetanian war hero, but a thorn in the Bulbian Church's side to boot. Not wanting to be involved himself, Charlock leaves Solara with taking care of their mutual problem. Relying on her 'seed' network, the young spymaster learns that Drunon often frequents the whorehouses just outside of the city limits of the city limits of Greenhold. Karna is notified less than ten minutes after his entering one of these dens of ill-repute. Going invisible, the chili pepper waits until the knight is in the middle of coitus to slash his throat with her capsaicin knife, Reaper. As he falls at her feet, dying, Karna says:
"We are all eventual food in the maw of the Hungry One."
She cuts off pieces of Sir Drunon, as well as from the whore whom she'd also killed, to be later burned as offerings to the Hungry One, and then takes the knight's head to be presented to Tomaté.
Trivia[]
