Description[]
Sirley is a soldier of the Meat Lands. He is a tall, thin, densely packed cluster of cooked brisket. His right hand is no longer on his body, replaced by a gold cap. He is an overwhelmingly optimistic man, enjoying life experiences that even he admits are unpleasant.
History[]
The Seeds of Conflict[]
Sirley is part of the caravan taking the Katzons to Comida for the Festival of St. Eggamere. He reveals it's the first time he has ever ridden a strawberry, and is thrilled with the experience despite his balls having gone numb and not being able to feel the lower half of his body.
Bloody Harvest[]
When Deli and Colin are summoned to Comida by the FDA, they bump into Sirley who is eager to find out about their summons. However, he is disappointed when the young thane tells him that their mission must be kept secret, including from him. Despite Delissandro's effort to convince him the importance of keeping everything in check while he's gone, Sirley is rather hurt at being excluded, though he tries to stay positive about it. Once he leaves, he begins to dance as though no one is watching in a nearby field.
Relationships[]
Colin Provolone[]
Being a naturally supportive guy, Sirley is often approves of Colin and his ideas, though doesn't speak to him very often, particularly approving of Delissandro promoting Colin to Chieftess Cleva's "Skald." After Sirley explains to Deli the realities of sex (ie "Sometimes it's not so much big style. It's very small style.), he feels much more bonded to Provolone as it is the first time the two shared more than just a few words of conversation with each other.
Thane Delissandro Katzon[]
Deli and Sirley are childhood friends who tell each other everything, including things like when Sirley lost his virginity. He is the one that explains to Delissandro the realities of sex, in that it's often messier, shorter, and less pleasant than people are led to believe.

Trivia[]
- The name "Sirley" is likely a reference to "sirloin," a specific cut of beef from the loins of a cow. The name "Haig," probably comes from Haig's Kabob House, an Armenian deli, market, and butcher shop located in North Hollywood.
