Sol is the God of the Sun. He and his son are a major deities in Solace and are worshiped by most of the humans who live there.

Sol appears as an old man with long white hair and a long white beard, eyes as bright as the sun, wearing robes and sandals. He seems stern, comforting, and dad-like.

Prompocalypse Part 2[]
Kristen Applebees discovers that since his death and Kristen sneaking him in to Heaven in her backpack, Arthur Aguefort has been able to knock out Sol and has been running Heaven in his stead. After The Bad Kids and their allies have defeated Kalvaxus, a bound Sol falls out of the sky, still unconscious, and is said to have been replaced by YES!. This completes part of the prophecy heralding Kalvaxus's return: "The suns shall fall from the heavens."

Spring Break! I Believe In You! (Part 1)[]
After Kristen is killed by the skeleton of a unicorn, she meets Sol in the afterlife. He is seated on a golden throne with geometric patterns and rays. He seems warm and welcoming at first, and explains that despite her doubt, Kristen never really left the care of him and his son, Helio. When Kristen refuses to reject doubt and devote herself to Helio or Galicaea, he becomes enormous, burning with the sun's fire, saying, "I told you that kid was trash, now get her!". All of Kristen's philosophy students and professors attack Sol and Helio and help Kristen escape, but Sol cuts off Kristen and stops giving her any spells.
