Description

Squeem is an emotionally available and intimidatingly large crystal construct with a glowing pink smile.

Background

Squeem helped the Bad Kids construct the solar lasso, a magical rope that they use to grapple the Night Yorb in The Red Waste. It is also implied that Squeem was killed and revivified an abnormally large number of times and that Squeem said something to Gorgug that he would never forget.

History

Summer Scaries

Squeem accompanies The Bad Kids atop The Hangvan in pursuit of The Night Yorb. Before heroically leaping at the Yorb's cultists (the “Yorbies”), he presses his eye against Gorgug's forehead, placing a handwritten note with the word “Squeem” and a drawn rose into his palm. Upon leaping, he fails to grapple any of his enemies and is left behind from the chase, now surrounded by previously blinded Yorbies. When Fig threw her crystal off the Hangvan, Squeem caught and turned it into a sabre of light, allowing him to heroically stand his ground and fight off the Yorbies.

The Bad Kids returned to Mordred Manor after they defeated the Night Yorb, and after calling Fig's Crystal Squeem responded while walking through The Red Waste, exclaiming a triumphant "SQUEEM!".

Ragenarok (Part 2)

Squeem arrived in the battle of the gym along with Agent Cuspin Clark, Balthazar, Sandra Lynn Faeth, Ragh and Lydia Barkrock, and Jawbone just as Porter was about to rend the world asunder. Before Porter can do so, however, Fabian, with the aid of Adaine, was able to call for divine intervention, summoning the true Ankarna who smote Porter where he stood, bisecting him vertically. Squeem then becomes the familiar of Ankarna and Cassandra, ousting Kalina.

Trivia

• Squeem is part of a "Remember the New Guy?" bit in which Brennan and the intrepid heroes improvised lore to imply that he was a major part of their off-screen journey to stop The Night Yorb.
• In a quangled universe, Squeem is revealed to be a tiny guy in a 14ft tall crystal mech. It's unclear if this is true for all versions of Squeem or if it's only true for this specific alternate version of Squeem.
