Description[]
His skin is a rich pastrami pink, while his extremities are the color of rich marbled rye bread. He has close cut, rich brown hair and a face on the edge of boyhood and manhood. He wears plain clothes. He is of both Meatland and Ceresian parentage. He is 19 years old prior to the time skip, and 21 years old afterwards. As he becomes more and more wartorn, he becomes increasingly covered in scars that look like bites. He ends up losing an eye, and wears a mustard eyepatch to cover it.

Senator Ariana Gemelli[]
Deli and Ariana Gemelli are extremely flirtatious with each other at the Festival of Saint Eggamere, even though Ariana is much older than Deli. Deli's relationship with Ariana is used by The Fellowship of Destiny's Architects to blackmail him into doing their bidding, although it is later revealed that Ariana is a member of the FDA.
Colin Provolone[]
In the years the Festival of Saint Eggamere, Colin and Deli become very close, and Deli appoints him as Chieftess Cleva Katzon's Skáld. When Deli appears unrepentant when they find out the FDA had them murder Queen Pamelia Rocks, they fight and Colin decides to end their relationship. Deli is extremely angry and tells him to leave, which Colin does, leaving his cheese-rind dagger behind. Although Deli kicks the dagger away, he does end up keeping it in the years they are apart.
Karna Solara[]
After the first time skip, Karna harbours a crush on Deli, which Deli seemingly leans into to fuel his ego. However, after the second time skip, Deli and Karna have both become divided from their closest allies in the party, and have reconnected after they have both reached adulthood. Deli asks Karna to help him kill Princess Sapphria of House Rocks to push Basha Myaso to lead The Meat Lands. After this, they forge an extremely close bond, with Karna encouraging Deli's aspirations and giving up her eye to save his life. Deli appoints Karna as Skáld of the Beef Clans, his trusted advisor, to replace Colin after they split.

- The Meat Lands and its inhabitants are modeled after ancient Celts. "Thane" was the title given to a local royal official in medieval eastern Scotland, equivalent in rank to the son of an earl.
- The sexual tension between Ariana and Deli is likely an overt nod to the infamous relationship between aunt and nephew (Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow, respectively) in Game of Thrones, the original inspiration and parody source for A Crown of Candy, as well as the relationship between uncle and niece (Daemon Targaryen and Rhaenyra Targaryen) in its prequel series, House of the Dragon.
