Description[]
Personality[]
The Blue Fairy likes to hang out in fainting rooms. She is also very jealous of her sister getting an invitation to the Bloom instead of her. When she is first seen, Blue is destroying Gwyndolin's living and sitting rooms in her anger at the slight.
Appearance[]
Blue brags frequently about her biggest achievement, turning Pinocchio into a boy. It is all she talks about, all day. She clearly gets jealous easily and has anger issues, as she is seen ripping up Gwyn's room after Gwyn gets invited to the Bloom instead of her.
Background[]
Blue once turned a wooden puppet into a boy. This is all she ever talks about.
History[]
The Blue Fairy is the fairy written in the legend of Pinocchio. She is the one who gave life to the puppet created by the carpenter, Geppetto, as the man longed for a son. That life was that of an animated puppet, however. Blue only gave that puppet, Pinocchio, true life one he proved himself to be a good and noble person. Her, Pinocchio, and Geppetto's story was written down by the author Carlo Collodi in Le avventure di Pinocchio (The Adventures of Pinocchio).
Relationships[]
Gwyndolin Thistle-hop[]
The real Gwyndolin is Blue's sister. Either Gwyn, or Binx-as-Gwyn, spoke with the mail carriers in order to get Gwyn's name put on the Bloom invitation instead of hers, which caused Blue to fly into a rage and start destroying Gwyn's property. Binx decided this was not her problem. Either Gwyn or Binx or both find Blue's bragging annoying. Gwyn mentions in her letter to Binx that she used to attend the Bloom alongside Blue, which she misses.
