The Grand Tournament is the fourth episode of season 5, A Crown of Candy.
The Taste Buds compete in the Grand Tournament. Theobald participates in the jousting event and easily unseats his competitor, Lady Plumbeline Uvano. Liam and Ruby both compete in the archery event, and Liam smokes everyone. In the second melee (the "hot" melee), Jet attempts to form allegiances with Grissini and Annabelle, but it's a free-for-all. In the first melee, Sir Keradin Deeproot lands a blow on Amethar with a watersteel dagger, knocking him unconscious in yet another assassination attempt. He is very quickly apprehended and brought to the dungeons for some expert interrogation from Lapin. The team fucks Brennan's shit.
