The Inbetween acts as the place between stories of The Neverafter, where characters may travel to after death. The Inbetween varies as many types of realms and locations.

Rosamund's Tower[]
After dying in story one, Rosamund sees people coming to put a veil over her head and she walks towards her parents and towards the door of a chapel, where her true love is waiting for her. She opens the door and at the end of the chappel two beautiful faces, princesses, turn to look at her. Upon waking up in her afterlife, Rosamund appears in her tower without the briars. Cinderella walks into the tower to talk to Rosamund.

Pinocchio's Afterlife[]
After Pinocchio's death he sees the village of Amanti while he and his father are on the back of a tuna as they ride home after escaping a dogfish. Pinocchio hears his father's voice say, "My little Pinocchio. She has lied to you." Pinocchio spirit wakes up with the spirit of Cricket speaking to him before being taken to The Stepmother's corridor.
