- “What an episode. Sofia and Dale Lee a love for the ages. Brennan, thank you so much for giving Sofia, and Emily, of course, the opportunity to bring Dale back without compromising any of her character progression from the first season. Thank you for preserving the sanctity of Sofia's "I choose myself moment," and then further cementing her legacy as a superhero by giving her the chance to achieve her American dream. Sofia sees love, just getting to love who you want, how you want, without other people getting in the way. And then sidebar, I've been re-watching season one a bit, I did always wonder why there was never any talk about Dale's body in Season 1. I mean, clearly no one found his corpse, otherwise Isabella's home wrecker ruse wouldn't have lasted as long as it did. Brennan, was this one of those narrative happy accidents that fell into place when you were planning Season 2, or have you been planning this longer than any of us ever realized?"
- “This episode, we finally get to see the dream team get to level 12. What was everyone's favorite new class ability/feats, et cetera, from leveling up? Thanks y'all. Can't believe there's only two episodes left.”
- "What are the odds of a third season of the Unsleeping City? Assuming nothing horrendous happens, at least four of the main characters will be parents. And if Pete takes Dee under his wing as a big brother or something, and you consider Cody is maybe technically a patriarch to all the devils of New Jersey, Maybe they're all parent figures in some way. It would be really interesting to see how six PCs try to deal with kids while also being the champions of New York."
- “Now that Cody directly works for Lucifer, it means both Murph and Emily's PCs are the only ones to be official Lords of Hell, and that is a very sweet coincidence. Still, it was very nice to see Cody's journey of personal growth and as an adult goth work hand in hand, and I felt terrified that Cody may fully die and have the journey cut short. Could not believe the dramatic weight held by the character, who, by Murph's own description, began as a one-note joke character. Was anyone else surprised by how rounded Cody had become as a character?”
- “We saw a fun result of wild magic this episode in the form of a massive blue feather beard for Pete. If you could have any feather hair or other magical body alteration on your person…”
- “If you had to switch PCs with any other cast member from any of the Dimension 20 seasons, who would you want to play? Also to get Brennan's attention and get my question asked, what's your favorite diner breakfast?”
- "How did the wizards of the GOS become convicted to destroy the... convinced to destroy the umbral engine and turn on the society? Were they aware that the destruction of magic was the end goal or were they lied to?”

- Prior to the release of this episode, the Dropout Newsletter revealed that the title of the next season is referenced in one of titles of Adventuring Party for The Unsleeping City: Chapter II. The episode in question was The Yellow M&M Is the Funniest Guy Alive, "M&M" being the reference to the title Mice & Murder.[1]
