The Ramsian Doctrine a belief within the Bulbian Church about the end of the world. Princess Jet Rocks reads about it in a large tome she found in Archbishop Fettucina Alfredi's hideout in Comida. The book also included information on the Prophidian Heresy.
Description[]
The belief states that the final destruction of the Hungry One by the Bulb and the final salvation of all souls cannot occur until the Hungry One devours the world. It states that there are certain souls that are delicious and healthy, and some that aren't.
The language used in the book, an old celestial language called Bulbosi, is somewhat ambiguous. The word for food and people in Bulbosi is interchangeable. The word for "healthy" souls means more spiritually healthy, but the technical translation is 'locally-sourced farm-to-table'. The word used to describe the "unhealthy" souls is an old Bulbosi curse word, which is strange to find in a celestial language. It means "junk food", but could also be translated as the worse type of trash, essentially refuse people.
The Ramsian Doctrine states that the presence of these "junk food" people is what is preventing the Hungry One from devouring the world because it wants to eat a "healthy" meal. It is a warped vision; the Ramsian Doctrine is rooting for the Bulb to win, but the Bulb can't win until the world is destroyed, and the world can't be destroyed until the Hungry One eats it, and the Hungry One won't eat something that's unhealthy. As a result, until those people that are junk are removed from the world, the final salvation cannot happen.
