Highlights[]
The episode title was named after a joke Siobhan made saying "this ain't Frasier" revering to the the little to no character development of sitcoms while the gang was talking about how the world of The Unsleeping City is forever changing as is it's characters. The cast then went on to continue the bit by expressing how little the show is like Frasier and that people should stop comparing the two to one another.
Questions Asked[]
- "Hey gang, we know that Brennan, Emily, Zack, Lou and Murph are regular dungeon masters, docents and daddies. However, will there ever be a time where Siobhan or Ally will have to answer the call? If so, what would a Siobhan or Ally campaign look like? Love the show, love you all. Callooh callay."
- “Now that our beautiful Bard Sondheim is back in the fray, What are your characters and yours as players favorite Sondheim musicals once they met the man, the myth and the legend. I figured even those who weren't theater people might check out his work."
- "We've seen both Murph and Lou make in character decisions that greatly reduced their abilities in combat as a way to illustrate part of a character arc as seen with Cody in Unsleeping City 2 and Fabian in Fantasy High: Sophomore Year. What inspires those decisions from the player characters and how do you and the DM decide on a game mechanic that works to reflect that?"
- "How much time does everyone spend outside of game thinking about their role playing, i.e., creating interpersonal relationships with the NPCs and Brennan, how do you maintain all of these threads to pull together compelling interactions for your players?"
- "First, thank you, Lou, for bringing Kingston to life, he's one of my main inspirations as I struggled through night school to become a nurse. Second, what do you all think D&D is best at story-wise? For instance, I think novels are really good at showing the interior lives of characters, while movies excel at managing time. What stories or story moments is D&D best at portraying?"
- “Eggs are so important to the world of Dimension 20. Every big series has included an egg as a major plot point, The phoenix egg Aguefort used in episode two, Cinnamon’s egg in A Crown of Candy, and now Kingston holds the egg to a new dragon of NYC. Anyways, what's the best way to eat eggs?"
- "Hey everyone, thank you so much for this season, and it's been wonderful. A true joy in this miserable, miserable time. My question is this, and Siobhan as a fellow Brit can be the judge and also have a vote. Best British food or snack. Thanks once again, be safe and well. Love to everyone in cast and crew."
- "For the players, what's it like feeling the impact of events from season one? i.e., Kugrash eating the bagel, Rowan replacing Tatiana, affecting the world of the Unsleeping City so profoundly. Is it weird for Siobhan and Murph to see impacts from their previous PCs that they didn't directly create?"
- "Hey gang, my partner and I are German and we just found out that there is a cheese called Monterey Jack, which was probably the name giver for the great character Manta Ray Jack. That just blew our minds. Anyway, what's your favorite cheese or cheese related dish/meal? We know it has to be a food question in parentheses. Lots of love and hugs and stuff."
