Thomas Gilfoyle is a butler at Loam Hall. Later revealed to be Inspector Neville Montserrat of Scotland Yard.

Gilfoyle is a very smartly dressed rat in a black butler's suit.
Personality[]
Gilfoyle is very snooty and sarcastic, and has always looked down on Gangie and treated him with contempt.
History[]
Gilfoyle notably disappeared after the camera flash.
He repeatedly audibly disapproved of Gangie, bringing to light his criminal record, which was the first clue to Gilfoyle's real identity, as most people in the area were unaware of his criminal record. He even at one point implied that Gangie killed Squire Brockhollow.
Montserrat was known to frequently show up while Sylvester was investigating mysteries, and mess up the investigation.
