Times Squaremageddon is the sixteenth episode and part one of the finale of season 3, The Unsleeping City.

"Welcome back, one and all to the climactic battle of The Unsleeping City! Our intrepid heroes have found themselves back where it all started in Times Square, New Year's Eve. The ball drops, the time stone, fused with Robert's phylactery, as it hits and shatters, time suspends. The Umbral Arcana seized and stopped by the sabotage of Robert's vampire minions, flickers and all of those unable to percieve the Unsleeping City are whisked away, whereas you are seized in a maelstrom, orange and red and black smoke, the eye of a hurricane stretching up, high above the Golden Door opens, the paragon emerges. You are within the spell powered by the time stone, this matrix of energy and force is both the same and intertwined and beside and behind of the power of Robert's phylactery, as his soul attempts to wrest the power of the paragon. You watch the Dream move to the threshold of the door. Beyond the threshold, the paragon that moves here beyond the Golden Door looks like many things. A flickering dream. Only that which the beholder would make of it."
Synopsis[]
At midnight the equipment in the ball activates; those unable to see magic are swept away by the broken Umbral Arcana. They are partway into the land of dreams and can see the Golden Door, through which they all see different things. They are on a platform whirring around in a vortex of spell energy.
Robert's spell begins to congeal the dream into a single form of a man which comments on the filthiness of New York. It summons two fire tornados and two trash tornados.
Kingston casts Bless on Ricky, Sofia, Alejandro and Pete. Alejandro opens a portal back to the waking world to summon people who might be able to help, though they have to be currently alive.
Kugrash dispels one of the fire tornados. Pete casts Vitriolic Sphere on the The American Dream. Rowan attempts to impersonate the American Dream within its own head and convince it to be something else, but it doesn't understand. Sofia jumps up towards it. In a Wild Magic surge, Pete gains resistance to all damage. Ricky summons Esther Sinclair through the portal and runs towards the "The American Dream". Kingston summons Willy. The remaining fire tornado hits Pete. Em and Stephen Sondheim are both summoned to assist. The American Dream kills Sofia outright; she sees Dale at the Pearly Gates. Rowan summons Santa Claus to the fight and puppets Sofia to the ground. Santa hits the American Dream with a javelin of peppermint candy. Pete is flung into space. Ricky summons Don Confetti. Kingston summons La Gran Gata and revives Sofia. Kugrash partially heals them all. Santa give Sondheim two four-foot broadswords.
Pete realises they are in the phylactery and that it would take near infinite knowledge to figure out the runes from inside. He summons Nod who gives them all extra spells.
The American Dream blasts Alejandro into one of the tornados.
They realise that in order to get the knowledge required to break the phylactery that contains them, someone will have to use the Bagel of All Things.
