Neverafter

Background[]

Tomas was the son of a Miller, who PiB involved in a scam which resulted in him becoming the King of Marienne. He married the princess-turned-queen as well, whom he loved, though felt guilty by having to lie to. He ruled mostly fine in times of prosperity, but because he wasn't a true leader, didn't know what to do when it came to impending threats of the giants. He was convinced that the whole scam would fall apart, especially because he was not incredibly knowledgeable with statecraft and could only kind of read. When the giants came, PiB fled, and never found out what happened to Tomas and his wife.

History[]

Tomas's body is seen in the Inbetween place where the Fox, Rabbit, and Cat return to between their reincarnations.

In the Land of Giants[]

As payment for sparing his life and breaking his curse, Alphonse sends the Golden Goose to the Destiny's Children with their loved ones, including Tomas, who had been captured in the Land of Giants.

The Last Wish[]

PiB and Tomas are happily reunited, PiB previously thinking Tomas was dead from the giant attack on Marienne. Tomas explains that he and his brothers initially had memories of the attack on their kingdom, but that the battle was fuzzy. They ultimately went to Snowhold, knowing the Snow Queen had used giants in battle, and somehow ended up in the Land of the Giants where they were held captive. Ultimately, Mother Timothy Goose decides to put Tomas in his storybook.
