Uncommon Knowledge is the tiny secondhand bookstore in Harlem where Pete Conlan works. It is tucked off in a corner, a few blocks from 125th Street.

It is an old building that contains all used books, and there's a small little wooden sign outside that reads "Uncommon Knowledge". It is a beautiful, magical place filled with the rich smell of old dusty paper. As old and crowded as the bookstore is, there is a little shelf outside where people can just take books for free. There's also a little wheelchair ramp leading up into the building.
They occasionally host school trips, and when the kids are young enough, they can sometimes spill juice everywhere.
