Vegetania is the vegetable kingdom in Calorum, located at the southernmost tip of the continent. Due to the large religious influence, it is likely based off the Holy Roman Empire, the Bulban Church very heavily mirroring the Catholic Church.

Description[]
Most of the population of Vegetania work the fields as serfs. However the clergy members who reside in Brightgarden, such as monks, abbots, cloistered scholars, and nuns, live an incredibly detailed political life.
Government and Religion[]
Vegetania is a land that is dominated by Calorum's religious capital of Brightgarden. King Belvedere Cabbage, the nation's current monarch, resides in Greenhold, as did his predecessor King Arthur Cardoon. It is also where the Hierophant Rex of the Bulbian Church reigns and holds sway over the Bulbian Church throughout all the nations of Calorum. Being a very religious nation, the political leanings of the kingdom are often guided by the influence of the religious leaders, such as the Pontifex Belizabeth Brassica.
Notable Events[]
- The Battle of Greenhold is considered a great victory for Vegetania during the Ravening War, pushing back Count Jacques Tomaté and the armies of Fructera. The knight, Sir Drunon, is soon labelled the hero of the battle.
- During the Ravening War, Princess Citrina of House Rocks came to King Cabbage in an attempt to broker peace. However, instead she is martyred in the streets of Vegetania. Her death prompts the king to reach out to King Gustavo Uvano of Fructera, and, for the first time since the very beginning of the war, the two nations decide to stop fighting. Furthermore, as Citrina is considered such an important and revered figure within the Bulbian Church (ultimately earning herself a sainthood), her murder prompts Vegetania to withdraw from the Ravening War entirely.
