Description[]
Thad is a beautifully dressed avocado with a little green face, waxed eyebrows, and just a little bit of peach fuzz as a mustache. He wears a little green doublet with yellow epaulets, as well as Princess Jet's underwear until she asks for it back.
He's very much in love with Princess Jet's supposed beauty (but he hasn't seen her in 10 years so he can only yearn). Some say he remains in the alley to this day.
History[]
He and Princess Jet first met when they were 8 years old. They apparently hit it off and have continued a secret and illicit correspondence since then.
There is Strength in Sweetness[]
On the day of Jet's 18th Saints Day, she receives a letter from him which, among flowery words and praises of her beauty, alludes to an imminent opportunity for them to meet once again in the capital of Comida. Jet and Ruby are then immediately excited at the prospect of a road trip. As a response, she gives the messenger her edible, tear-away underwear and tells her Thad will understand what it means.

Jet meets Thad in person for the first time since that fateful day once she arrives in Comida. He approaches her as she, Princess Ruby, and Liam Wilhelmina dip into the Fructeran vino of the banquet, and after seeing him, she downs her entire glass of wine. Jet and Ruby express their disappointment to each other in Twin Speak, which is a dialect of Candian that he cannot understand. Ruby begins to tell him how excited Jet is to meet him, and how much she's been talking about it. Jet lies about a 'mixup' over what she'd sent him and asks for her underwear back. He obliges, letting her know that he had to get them taken out in order for them to fit, and that he'd been wearing them all week.
Escape from the Bulb Creeps[]
While escaping from the fight in the Cathedral of Saint Arugula, Jet Rocks runs to the alley that she sent Thad to wait in. Upon arriving, Liam punches Thad unconscious, and Ruby casts a Sleep spell on his attendants. She uses Disguise Self to disguising herself as him, and the party makes off with his cart.
